About this crochet unisex beanie

This beanie is made from a rectangle. First we work a few stitches with back post single crochet (bpsc) to create the brim, then we continue working back post half double crochet (bphdc) stitches for the beanie, and we’ll end with bpsc to create a smaller top.

Back post stitches are worked ‘around’ the stitch: insert your hook from the back to the frond on the right side of the stitch, and from the front to the back on the left side of the stitch. Below you can find a step by step video tutorial.
