After the big success of my Puff Pocket Shawl<\/a>, Wave After Wave Pocket Shawl<\/a> and Feather Hooded Pocket Shawl<\/a>, I just had to make another one. This hooded scarf features the chevron stitch<\/strong> which creates beautiful textured waves. I have added tassels on both ends and optionally you can also add pockets. Chevron Stitch<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I have made my own variation of the chevron stitch: usually it’s made with double crochet (dc), but I use front post double crochet <\/strong>(fpdc) to create that extra texture. Peaks are made with increases, and valleys with decreases. Below you can find my free pattern<\/strong> (including video tutorial) to make a hooded shawl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
