After making my Blocked Puff Stitch Scarf , I definitely wanted to make more with this beautiful stitch. I decided to make a triangle shawl with a beautiful Mandala yarn cake I bought during my last trip to the USA. The shawl can be made as big as you want by repeating a few simple rows. Scroll down for my free photo and video tutorial of the Blocked Puff Stitch Triangle Shawl.
Blocked Puff Stitches
Blocked Puff Stitches are usually abbreviated as Bps and are a variation of puff stitches with a more open structure. You can also make staggered, stacked, zigzag and braided puff stitch rows. Even though it is not a difficult stitch, you might have to practice getting the right tension. On my blog you can find a detailed photo and video tutorial of this stitch. Below you can find my free pattern to make a shawl.
